Founded in 1904, the Association of American Geographers (AAG) is the largest scientific and educational society exclusively serving members interested in the theory, methods, and practice of geography. AAG members are geographers and related professionals who work in the public, private, and academic sectors. Members are primarily geography professors, with other members working as government employees, planners, cartographers, scientists, business people, and university administrators.
AAG members are selectable by home or work address, specialty group and gender.
