The American College of Cardiology (ACC) is the leading medical society and teaching institution for U.S. cardiovascular health care professionals. ACC is dedicated to enhancing the lives of cardiovascular patients through continuous quality improvement, patient-centered care, payment innovation and professionalism. Comprised of physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists and practice managers, the College bestows credentials upon cardiovascular specialists who meet its stringent qualifications. ACC represents the majority of board-certified U.S. cardiovascular physicians. Most ACC members work in private group practices, with the balance working in medical schools/universities, solo practice, private hospitals, government institutions/hospitals and HMOs. The majority of ACC members spend their professional time providing direct patient care and consultation, as well as performing a wide range of procedures. A variety of member categories make the ACC membership broadly representative of the cardiovascular profession. Due to the dynamic nature of medicine, ACC members need to stay current with the latest technology and research. They are an ideal target audience for a variety of offers and high-ticket items to help build, support and enhance their profession.

The American College of Cardiology makes its membership list available in support of the cardiovascular care professional and educational interests of its members.

ACC’s mail list may be rented for:

• Publicity for professional workshops, courses, and symposia.
• Promotional materials for publications and informational resources.
• Marketing of relevant pharmaceuticals, products and devices.
• Announcements of position vacancies.

ACC’s mail list MAY NOT be rented for:

• Promotional materials unrelated to the field of cardiovascular medicine.
• Surveys, membership recruitment or related promotions for external organizations.
• Use of member names and addresses for on-site visits to members' homes/offices for any reason.
• Any political or political campaign purpose.
• Any program that is in direct conflict with an ACC program – defined as any program on the same subject as an ACC program, in the same geographic region, which takes place within thirty (30) days, before or after, the ACC program.
